Event Sponsorship

Let Essentia Health help you put on an event that enhances the health and well-being of our community. Each year, we sponsor hundreds of activities in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Types of Events We Sponsor

We sponsor local events and activities that encourage people to be healthy and active, like:

• 5K run/walks
• Health education events
• Health screenings
• Marathons
• Triathlons

Is My Event Eligible?

Essentia will consider sponsoring your event if we will be the only health care sponsor/partner. Your event also needs to meet all or most of the following criteria:

• Occurs in an area served by Essentia
• Aligns with Essentia’s mission and vision
• Involves community partners that share our values
• Focuses on prevention and education
• Aims to improve the health of our community
• Supports an established, local nonprofit organization
• Offers a strong partnership with requesting organization
• Provides an opportunity to promote Essentia programs and physicians

Event Sponsorship Application Process

To apply for event sponsorship, please complete the online application at least eight weeks before your event. You'll be asked to provide:

• A list of corporate sponsorship levels, including recognition and benefits at each level
• The total event budget, including secured or projected income sources; identify what portion of the total amount you’re requesting from Essentia
• A list of your board of directors and their affiliations

Application Deadline

Please submit your application at least eight weeks before your event, to ensure we have enough time to receive, process and review your information. If an application is submitted less than eight weeks prior to the event, it may be declined.
