Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center welcomes cardiology practitioner Kirstin Drake

Kirstin Drake, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in cardiology, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center. She has been with Essentia for about 10 years – the last seven of which were in internal medicine. She is excited to begin her new role in cardiology.

“I chose to practice cardiology because I have really grown a passion around caring for those with heart disease,” Drake said. “There is so much to learn and I look forward to growing my knowledge base.  As a nurse, I had many different opportunities, but some of my favorite experiences and work settings were involved with cardiology.

Drake received her education from the University of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

“As your caregiver, I will try my best to give you the respect and time you deserve to look into your health care and develop a plan together,” said Drake.
