Participating in Research

Through Essentia Health, researchers at the Essentia Institute of Rural Health (EIRH) have access to a large rural patient population across four states. Essentia Health’s service area includes two million people, of which approximately 40 percent are Essentia Health patients. Our focus is to improve our patients’ health by engaging in studies of rural healthcare delivery, government, and industry-based clinical trials, and disease-related issues.

There are several ways to participate in research at the Essentia Institute of Rural Health:

Your participation in research is vital to the success of our mission to create a healthy difference in people’s lives. You may be contacted via MyChart, REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) or other Essentia Health approved, secure systems that support research studies.
