Bio

Dr. Andrew Obritsch grew up in Bismarck, ND. He earned a bachelor’s degree with distinction in psychology from St. John’s Univ. (MN). After earning a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Illinois Univ., Dr. Obritsch was drawn to medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota and completed a family medicine residency at the MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. He is board-certified in family medicine. 

Dr. Obritsch is drawn to family medicine because it allows him to be involved in all aspects of his patient’s medical needs instead of focusing on one area of their care. Dr. Obritsch welcomes all patients, with particular interests in the care of children, mental health, diabetes, and sports medicine. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Obritsch enjoys carpentry, auto restoration, hunting, and spending time with his family.
