Michael Reuter, DPT is a Physical Therapist. He joined Essentia Health in 2013.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the College of St. Scholastica in 1998. He completed a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 and the Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2018 at the College of St. Scholastica.
Mike is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. His approach includes High-Intensity Gait Training to help individuals regain walking ability after a Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, or Brain Injury. Dizziness and balance are areas of interest as he has completed the Emory Competency-Based Vestibular Rehabilitation course and recently attended the International Conference for Vestibular Rehabilitation. Wheelchair seating and mobility is another area of specialization, including custom molded backrests and seat cushions. He is LSVT BIG certified for treating Parkinson’s Disease. He is an adjunct instructor at the College of St. Scholastica Physical Therapy Program.
