24/7 Video Visits On Demand
Access video visits with a medical professional for your urgent care needs through MyChart. You will need to have an active MyChart Account.
Insurance and/or out-of-pocket
E-Visits
Fill out a short questionnaire to receive a diagnosis and treatment plan by an Essentia provider for your common concerns and conditions.
$40 out-of-pocket You won't be charged until you receive your care plan, and some insurance providers will reimburse you for the cost of E-Visits.

When should I choose virtual care versus in-person care?
In many cases, your best first step may be virtual care, especially if wait times are high.
- If you have a severe injury or illness, go to an emergency room or call 911.
- For routine or preventative care, consider a virtual video visit. For in-person care, call your local clinic or schedule an appointment online.
- For specialty care, virtual and in-person options are available when you need an expert for skin rashes, allergies, vaccinations, joint and soft tissue injuries and more.

What is the difference between Urgent Care, Walk-In Care and Emergency Medicine?
- Walk-in Care – Walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries. All walk-in care locations have lab services, including blood draw. Not all locations offer X-ray. Hours vary by location.
- Urgent Care – Walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries that may require lab or imaging services. Hours vary by location.
- Emergency Medicine - Get care for serious or life-threatening illnesses and injuries that require immediate attention. Care is provided by doctors and a team of medical professionals. This service is available 24/7 at Essentia Health hospitals.
- Orthopedic Urgent Care or Walk-In Care - Get immediate care for sprains, strains, and broken bones. See a doctor or physician assistant who specializes in muscle, bone, and joint care - no appointment needed.
- Pediatric Walk-In Care - See a doctor or physician assistant who specializes in pediatrics - no appointment needed.

- E-Visits – Online visits through MyChart for common concerns and conditions. Receive a diagnosis and treatment plan for just $40.
- 24/7 Video Visit On Demand - Get care from an urgent care provider without leaving your home via virtual video visit. Connect with a provider online via secure video chat within MyChart.

Who can get virtual care?
Anyone, regardless of they are an Essentia Health patient, can receive virtual care, including an E-Visit or 24/7 Video Visit On Demand.

How much should my visit cost?
The approximate out-of-pocket costs per visit for each Immediate Care service are:
- Emergency Department (ED): Approx. $600
- 24/7 Video Visit On Demand: Approx. $99-$448
- Urgent Care: Approx. $335-$515
- Walk-In Care: Approx. $335-$515
- E-Visit: $40
