Jason Aulie

Jason Aulie received his Bachelor of Science (2003) and Doctor of Pharmacy (2007) degrees from the University of Minnesota. After graduation, he practiced as a clinical pharmacist for seven years at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2014 he moved to Duluth, Minnesota, where he has continued practicing at Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center as a clinical pharmacist. He was in that role for 3 years before becoming the Clinical Specialist/Residency Program Director in 2017.

His primary practice is in adult general medicine, and he serves as the preceptor for the residents in the staffing and orientation experiences.

Alyssa Butterfield

Alyssa is originally from Hayward, WI, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Physiology with a minor in Pharmacology (2019) and Doctor of Pharmacy (2023) from the University of Minnesota. During her studies, she was involved in a variety of organizations and extracurricular activities, including the Minnesota Pharmacy Student Alliance (APhA-ASP), Teaching Assistant for the Pharmaceutical Care Skills Lab, Psychiatric & Neurologic Collaborative, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and others. She started her pharmacy career in 2015 as a technician with Target Pharmacy and has since worked as an intern with CVS, Essentia Health - 3rd Street Pharmacy, and Essentia Health - St. Mary’s Medical Center. Alyssa’s clinical interests are in psychiatric pharmacy, internal medicine, and management/administration. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, art & graphic design, photography, and traveling in her spare time.

Christin Libal

Christin Libal, PharmD

Christin grew up in Two Harbors, MN. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She stayed at the Duluth Campus to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. Throughout pharmacy school, she was involved in many student organizations including the Minnesota Pharmacy student Alliance, tutoring, Pharmacy Leadership Society, Student Ambassador, and more. During school, she worked as a technician and intern at both Essentia Health- St. Mary’s Medical Center and Essentia Health- 3rd Street Pharmacy. Christin’s clinical interest areas include infectious disease, oncology, and critical care. In her free time, she enjoys going outside, hanging out with family and friends, reading, and puzzling.

Alyssa Preheim

Alyssa Preheim, PharmD

Alyssa is from Crookston, MN and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Mathematics from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. She continued her education at NDSU and obtained her PharmD in 2023. During her time in pharmacy, she was an inpatient pharmacy intern at Sanford Medical Center Fargo, tutored at the college, was a Teaching Assistant for the Writing and Professionalization in Pharmacy, and was involved with various student organizations such as APhA-ASP and the Green Bandana Project. Her areas of professional interest include emergency medicine and pharmacy education. Outside of pharmacy, Alyssa enjoys reading, playing cozy video games, drinking coffee, and spending time with her husband and fur-babies.
