A hospitalist is a doctor who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. Most hospitalists are board certified in internal medicine or family medicine. Your hospitalist will serve as your guide during your hospital stay and help you connect with other members of your health care team.

In addition to monitoring your health and providing high-quality care, your hospitalist will:

Team-Based Coordination of Care
