Our Mission
The Essentia Health Accredited Continuing Education (CE) Program supports the organization’s mission to make a healthy difference in people’s lives. This goal is accomplished by providing evidence-based learning for the interprofessional healthcare team to improve competence, performance, and patient outcomes. Impact is measured by learner intent to change practice and organizational performance and outcome metrics.
Accreditation
Essentia Health is accredited by the Minnesota Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Essentia Health has been reviewed by the Minnesota Medical Association and awarded Accreditation with Commendation for six years as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Accreditation in the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) System seeks to assure the medical community and the public that Essentia Health delivers education that is relevant to clinicians’ needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence
Essentia Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
Our goal is to implement and accredit CE activities that address the educational need as defined by professional practice gaps of the healthcare team.
