Bismarck Team Supports United Way’s Backpack Program

Essentia Health colleagues and their families recently volunteered with United Way to pack weekend food backpacks for local students in need. This vital program provides meals to approximately 1,700 children in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the Bismarck-Mandan area.

Bike Safety season in Brainerd Lakes

Essentia Health volunteers visited eight elementary schools in the Brainerd Lakes Area to teach 3rd and 4th graders about bike safety and the importance of wearing helmets.

Nearly 500 helmets were fitted and distributed, thanks to support from the Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Foundation and Easy Riders Bike Shop.
