Essentia Health attends Health Fair at Central Lakes College

Essentia Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center colleagues in Brainerd participated in the Central Lakes College (CLC) Health Fair on April 17th. CLC students learned about various career options at Essentia and were able to see tourniquet demos at the booth.

Kudos to Matt Giza, Elsie Stanek, Katria Kubesh, and Ashley Auge who attended the health fair.

Essentia Health partners with Safe Kids Northeast Minnesota coalition members

Over the past few weeks, Essentia Health colleagues partnered with fellow Safe Kids Northeast Minnesota coalition members (Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Cloquet Area Fire District, Duluth Fire Department, Duluth Police Department) to bring lessons about safe biking and proper helmet use to 4th grade classrooms in the greater Duluth area.

This spring’s program reached 681 4th graders across southeast St. Louis County northeast Carlton County.

Colleagues from Essentia Health in Fosston handed out fruit to students at area Elementary Schools wishing them well on their last day of school and to have a great summer.
