Neighborhood Youth Services Empowers Duluth's Central Hillside Community

Essentia Health is proud to partner with Neighborhood Youth Services (NYS) in making a meaningful difference in the lives of youth and families in Duluth’s Central Hillside neighborhood.

Through this collaboration, we are joining forces to foster a strong support system based on integrity and justice, addressing the diverse needs of families, and ensuring they thrive in their communities. NYS’s professional development initiatives and services—ranging from tutoring and job placement to field trips, career exploration, and meals—are creating positive change and empowering the next generation.

Thank you to NYS for your continued commitment to making Duluth a better place for all!

Essentia Volunteers for “The Banquet” Meal at the Dream Center in Bismarck

A big shoutout to our colleagues in Bismarck, North Dakota, for volunteering to serve food to more than 175 people at The Banquet at the Dream Center Bismarck last month! Essentia Health also contributed $1,250 to support the meal.

The Banquet is a community-style meal served nightly to anyone in need, and we’re proud to be part of it. A huge thanks to Jane Schlinger and Sophie Morgan for prepping the meal, and to our clinicians Dr. Amy Juelson and McKenzie Kemmet, PA-C, for showing up and supporting this amazing cause.

We love seeing our team make such a positive impact in the community!
