Essentia Health Donates Medical Supplies to Rural Clinic in Ghana

Fr. Peter Akudugu, a priest at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia, Minnesota, recently reached out to Essentia about donating supplies to rural clinics in his home country of Ghana. Essentia was happy to help.

Supplies that did not have a home in the new St. Mary’s Medical Center will be shipped to Ghana to support nearly a dozen rural clinics.

Essentia Health Supports Clearwater Food Shelf

Essentia Health colleagues visited the Clearwater County Food Shelf in Bagley, MN, to meet volunteer staff and support food access efforts in Clearwater County.

In March, Essentia Health's Fosston Community Engagement Committee voted to support the Clearwater County Food Shelf with a monetary donation as part of Minnesota’s Food Share Month.

Kudos to our amazing colleagues in the Trauma department who tabled at the City of Duluth's Cold Front event and educated community members on safety and injury prevention! Despite the lack of cold and snow, hundreds of people attended and enjoyed the activities!
