- Cancer Care Fund – Helps advance cancer care
- Pay It Forward Brainerd Lakes Cancer Fund – Helps cancer patients and families with nonmedical expenses, such as transportation, childcare, and housing
- Pink Ribbon Cupboard – Assists breast cancer patients and families with nonmedical expenses, including car payments, housing, and groceries
- Lakes Prostate Cancer Fund and Support Group
- Helps prostate cancer patients and families with non-medical expenses during treatment
- Provides educational resources and promotes public awareness of prostate cancer and its early detection and treatment

- Take Heart Program – Trains high school students and community members in CPR and AED

About St. Joseph’s Foundation
Part of Essentia Health Foundation, St. Joseph’s Foundation is nonprofit organization that supports community health initiatives and Essentia Health facilities in the Brainerd Lakes Area. St. Joseph’s Foundation began in 1990 with a $10,000 gift from the St. Joseph’s Medical Center Auxiliary. Since then, it’s raised more than $10 million.
